At the recently concluded Quipper Math Marvels Numerical Extravaganza Elimination Round Bracket 3 held last September 24, 2024 via Zoom, Casa Del Niño Schools System, Inc. made an overwhelming victorious mark. CDNSSI CEO, Dr. Farah Acierto, announced that “The CDN schools convincingly won 11 of the 12 slots in the four categories during the semifinals round.” 10 Quipper schools per category from Baguio, Nueva Vizcaya, Isabela, Cagayan and Laguna participated in said competition.
In the Lower Elementary category, Carmela M. Banzuela (CDN Cuidad de Calamba, Grade 3 Iolite) was Ranked 1st followed by Tobias Ephraim M. Evangelista, Ranked 2nd (CDN Main Campus, G3-Loyalty} with Lucas A. Delos Santos, Ranked 3rd (CDN Roxas, Grade 3 Generosity).
In the meantime, the Upper Elementary category had Marcus Enrique R. Bayaban as Rank 1 (CDN Cuidad de Calamba, Grade 6 Peridot) and Eliana Michiko L. Retamar, Rank 2 (CDN Main Campus, G6-Perseverance)
For the Junior High School, finalists included: Rank 1 – Benjamin Matthew A. Claudio ( CDN Ilagan, Grade 9), Rank 2 – Rodgen Gino G. Orani (CDN Roxas, Grade 9 Fortitude) and Rank 3 – Jon Raphael De Torres (CDN Main Campus, Grade 10 Mendeleev)
Finally, the Senior High School category had Rank 1 – Jirgo S. Balmes (CDN Main Campus, Grade 12 STEM), Rank 2 – Kxye Miguel H. Paddayuman (CDN Ilagan, Grade 12 STEM) and Rank 3 – Genzet Faith F. Guillermo (CDN Roxas, Grade 11 Benevolence)
All abovementioned finalists will move on to the finals to be held on Saturday, 28 September via Zoom, as well. Commenting on the success of the event, Ms. Louise Danica L. Pula, Quipper Sales Account Officer, said that “Through our partnership, we are not just excelling in Math; we are paving the way for a brighter future.” She also stated that the excellent performance of the CDN branches highlights the school system’s commitment to fostering an engaging learning environment and in the process, elevating their educational experience.
